@Chloe_HY_Law It's great that VR is being used to increase the wellbeing of our society. While VR has obvious uses in gaming, it will be interesting to see how it can be used to see sporting events, visit museums, and even be in class all from the comfort of our homes.
The United States just passed a bill to begin the manufacturing of semiconductors inside of the US. I believe that it's a good thing to start producing more technologies locally, instead of relying on international trade. #ENGR392CC https://t.co/EmT9ZQ76eZ
Uber drivers will now know details about their trip before picking up the customer. I thought that the drivers knew this information. More transparency between the company and it's employees a good thing. Hopefully more companies follow suit. #ENGR392CC

Engineers have boosted one gene in a strain of rice to create a yield that’s 40 to 70 percent higher. How do you all feel about gene editing on our food? Why would people be against this type of technology? #ENGR392CC

Just last week, Hawaii received its last shipment of coal ever. Next month the state's last coal-fired power plant will close down. Hopefully this is first of many states to stop using coal. #ENGR392CC

@NicolasLaplant7 While I don't think the exploration of the universe is a crucial issue to tackle, I do believe that we should continue to strive for innovations in space exploration. The unknown of space is such a wonder, and it is extremely interesting to find out as much as possible.
@ErinPierce_2 While I agree that this is a great idea, I don't see this being a reality in the near future. Solar powered roads have been proven to be extremely expensive to build and maintain since they need to be able to handle the weight of the vehicles. https://t.co/sR6axxzG5C
With the increase of fake news and misinformation, this is extremely frightening. Imagine never knowing if what you are seeing with your own eyes is real or not. Think about all of the harm and confusion that can be done with this technology. #ENGR392CC

Studies show that "1 in 3 employees would quit their job if forced to go back to working at the office full-time". Will the choice of working from home instead of going in to work impact your post-education job search? #ENGR392CC
