@ianlandsman I think (as with most things) it's nuanced and there are benefits/drawbacks to both. The best case is probably hybrid, with a 2-3 days of in-person collaboration and the rest remote for focused execution
@JackEllis clean/onion architecture is still useful, as are related ideas (DDD, event sourcing), but layers of abstraction & incidental complexity they introduce don't offer benefits to codebases below some threshold of complexity/LOC, and that threshold is quite high (ie: above most apps)
@aarondfrancis Sorry to hear this. We have RA in our family too and it's tough to deal with. At least you have a diagnosis and can start managing it (and feeling better). Treatment options are the best they've ever been, and only getting better 🙏
