@bobconfer Not surprising. Kids are not mature enough to police themselves. All colleges should have outreach numbers for the community to call and identify students breaking gathering rules. Off campus parties/get togethers are still happening.

I hope high school children can follow rules better than college students seem to be doing. Perhaps colleges needed to put some of that tuition into “Covid Monitors” to make sure students follow expected safety procedures. Here is another idea, no off campus housing . . .

@bobconfer @LockportJournal @nysut My concern as a teacher is that I will be come the “mask police”. I can’t tell you the amount of issues getting kids to take their hoods down (school policy). I’m hoping wearing a mask will not be the same type of issue.

@bobconfer Our school district has been handing out daily breakfast and lunch since March (being run by many teachers and parents). It will continue. It’s a long line of waiting cars each day.
