once again, really urging people to get a library card if you haven't already - and not just that, i'm begging you to USE your library resources. show up. though they're important, we do way more than just books. libraries are spaces that allow community building and care.

This sounds frivolous in the grand scheme of things but we need to support archivists, protect public libraries, protect journalists, writers, artists, photographers, and filmmakers. We need to continue to keep culture alive and educate our youth.
Worth a reminder this only really happens in America. Most other places the concept of billionaires buying up sports teams and stealing them out of the communities that love them is considered, rightly, insane.
