@mikegolicjr Not sure if it is exactly bad marriage advance but my then 80 year old Grandfather sat me down and said “don’t hurt your back on the first night, makes for a long week!” Also said it was the most important advice he had for a newly wed. Lol
@brezvideo @uwuinator2 @AGuyInCanada@_MariaBurnett Computers were not standard in 1991. Where I grew up only the upper middle class and up would have owned one. Our first computer was a hand me down from a relative around 1998. This is not privilege shaming, just pointing out your experience is not everyone’s.
@partnersinfire It can go either way. We have friends who have a pool, the kids love it but the parents complain about the cost to maintain it. The closest lake to us has way too much boat traffic and partiers to swim with small children.
@BlogWood I don’t disagree but be careful assuming that sewer is universal. In nearly all rural areas you have to have your own onsite system. I live in an area where a rural electric coop offers fiber but we have onsite septic.
@chipgaines@AssistingChip Some family friends of ours were in a head on collision with their 5 kids 2 nights ago. Oldest has a long road ahead. https://t.co/hLClBhGFN7
@mcuban This is very factual. I have been pulled over several times and been able to joke my way through with no issues. Almost never any nervous feelings. Very much a white privilege.
