the only people who feel like this have never had to do shift work. my current 9-5 feels like a part time job compared to the 12+ hour shifts i used to do
i was like “…no.” and he said “are you sure?” as if that’s a normal thing to say to a stranger.
when did that become a normal thing to say to a stranger and not an incredibly personal question
this reminds me of a time when i was a bartender and a guy was making small talk with me while i was making his drink. i could only half hear what he was saying so i wasn’t really responding much n he just super casually goes “so are you autistic?”
had a drunk girl at a bar lock eyes with me and say "you're cool" and i said "oh thanks" and then she leaned in with her arms extended for some sort of unwelcome act of intimacy and i said "oh please don't." and she said "oh, neurodivergent?"
everyone talks about the male loneliness epidemic but no one talks about the hot successful and smart girls who can’t find suitable partners cus dating in this day and age is equivalent to an involuntary check in at the mental hospital
