@jessieismynameo@ThrillaRilla369 Fuck around and stand on the wet seat of a porta potty to reach something at a 3 day music festival early Sunday morning and you might find out. Bonus points if you are wearing blown out flip flops lol.
Anyone want to learn subtractive synthesis? Techniques from analog synthesizers are the building blocks of software based music production systems. https://t.co/tmkW7z6Nyv
@jessieismynameo I hear ya. I don't love it, but if you're just trimming, doing fades and getting the volume maximized, it's simple enough. The effects suck, I get it, but I've already got everything generally sounding the way I want it before it gets there.
@jessieismynameo I have a little Tascam-DR-60DMKII 4 track that I record onto. Then I put the SD card in the PC and copy the files and master them in Audacity. Once in awhile I'll record another track in Audacity, usually an intro or outro part, but 90% of it's all live in the style of a DJ.
@jessieismynameo Video wants 48k. CD is 44. Standard procedure is record in 96k then downconvert to 48 or 44 as needed. Downconvert good upconvert bad.
@jessieismynameo I don't use DAW, but about Garage band, you may want to use Audacity. GB only does 44kHz sample rate. Audacity does 44kHz, 48kHz, 96kHz,up to 384kHz, which is handy if putting music to video.
