Her bff ran a whole business in secret, proving that it is possible for women to do more than be wives and mothers, in fact Penelope proves women can do it all, be wives, mothers and own businesses, meanwhile, all Eloise does is complain and act like she is above everyone.

Some of the problems in Bridgerton are caused becasue imo they revealed lady whistledown's identity to the viewer too soon and then made it worse by revealing it to the characters too early as well. Took the mystery and the stakes involved, right out of it.

Which also had an affect on Eloise's story development becasue she was so driven on finding out the true identity of whistledown, it gave her purpose. She has a lot of opinions on feminism but no ambition or aspirations to follow it up with.

@bigbodytae @messylegends This! This was the biggest problem. They didn't allow each other to form connections because as soon as they did, out. And then the producers sending one half of a couple home at every recoupling. The way Ace played the game, actually worked because of this.
