We are self-centered, self-consumed, have a distorted moral compass, justify our wrongdoings through victimhood, are selective in our morality, tribal, and do not know how to be grateful.

When we come to the West and are exposed to your kindness, we see it as weakness. Your law-abiding nature irritates us. Your grace looks like naivety.

And instead of exposing this huge difference between you and us, and helping us grow and learn, half of you are useful idiots who tell us we are better than you. They affirm our defects and present them as virtues to be cherished.

For me, if it were not for Christ and what the Gospel has done in me, I would not be trying to help you wake up and defend this great civilization from being replaced and erased.

Y aquí está lo interesante: la Carta fundacional de la OLP (arts. 17 y 24) no reclamaba soberanía sobre Cisjordania ni Gaza, pero sí rechazaba la legitimidad del establecimiento de Israel, y reivindicaba la “liberación de Palestina”.

Entonces la pregunta es inevitable:

¿qué territorio pretendía “liberar” la OLP en 1964 si no reclamaba Cisjordania ni Gaza?

Esto no niega los derechos nacionales palestinos ni lo ocurrido después de 1967. Pero sí cuestiona una narrativa demasiado simple: que el conflicto se explica por la ocupación israelí de Cisjordania y Gaza.

En 1964 esa ocupación todavía no existía y el conflicto con Israel ya existía.

We found some interesting things in the ruins of that Superior Civilisation™.

That photo on the left is (I think) an RT-64 radio telescope in Russia, although similar to the RT-32 Irbene Radio Telescope in Latvia built to spy on the West.

Actually though, it contained tapes of Western music.

The disillusioned conscripts stationed there were using their Superior Civilisation’s most advanced tech to circumvent the censorship imposed by.. er, that same Superior Civilisation™.

The Soviets then wrecked the place themselves on their way out. They set off explosives inside, cut cables, poured acid into controls, and shred all schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams.

They left believing that the Latvians could never possibly use it.

Nevertheless, Latvian scientists and engineers managed to fully reverse engineer it, restore it, then gave it an actual useful purpose.

They pointed it at the stars instead to advance humanity’s understanding of the cosmos.

The facility is now at the frontier of civilian science with advanced new telescopes integrated into the world’s largest low-frequency radio telescope network.

It’s currently undergoing its fourth modernisation, led by Ventspils University.

Fortunately, they don’t have to attend those dull parades and they have easier ways to listen to decent music!

Police in riot gear raided my home. They arrived with a key and a saw at the ready. My 16-year-old son was handcuffed while I was detained in a room as officers searched the entire property from top to bottom. He was arrested solely for being present at the protest.

Islam is the sanctification of man’s most corrupted instincts.

It takes what is base in human nature and give it a divine sanction.

Man’s desire to dominate women? Islam codifies it. Veiling, polygamy, child marriage, testimony worth half a man’s, all justified as God’s will.

The tribal impulse of “my group over yours”? Islam raises it to the level of theology: believers vs. infidels, the ummah against the world.

The lust for supremacy and conquest? Islam call it jihad and makes it a religious demand.

The primal rage at dissent? Islam turns it into law: apostasy punishable by death.

Man’s lust for unlimited sex? Islam provides it: four wives, temporary marriages, concubines, sex slaves, and the promise of virgins in paradise.

This is why Islam went global. It spread because it indulged what was already animal in humans.

It is like pornography, irresistible to the flesh, destructive to the soul.

It thrives because it removes all discipline from sexuality, power and ego.

It appeals to the raw, the unrefined, the barbaric impulse in man, and calls it holy.

The West, by contrast, was built on the exact opposite impulse. The Judeo-Christian tradition does not legitimize man’s depravity, it restrains it.

Western civilization is not the freedom of instincts but the discipline of them.

It is the recognition that man’s raw impulses lead to tyranny, slavery, and barbarism unless they are checked by higher law.

The clash between Islam and the West is not merely geopolitical. It is civilizational at the deepest level:

Whether human nature should be indulged or disciplined, whether man’s lowest instincts are to be worshipped or restrained.
