#fuelprices when pil wss US$90/Barrell in Feb 2026, diesel was selling at €1.72/litre. The Government has taken 32c tax off the sellibg price of a litre of diesel, so now it should be €1.40/litre, NOT €2.04 - WHY are the media not all over this? @irishexaminer @RTE_PrimeTime

@Independent_ie my 101 year old mum who is on the old age pension & bedridden & lives alone is being hit with €1000+ in tax this month- over €400 tax on home heating oil & nearly €600 in Property Tax- 3/4 of This months pension gone on tax. SHAMEFUL. @FineGael @SimonHarrisTD
