Aramaic is one of the oldest living languages. It was once the Lingua Franca of the Near East, initially spread by the Assyrians who adopted it as the Imperial language. Despite all attempts to erase them today, Aramaic is living proof of their continuity.
Tis a pity that due to the intimidation, bullying & aggression of a protesting minority dedicated publicly to “ Destroy Israel, our “home” match on Oct 4 is to be played in Serbia behind closed doors to the detriment of our team & supporters. https://t.co/64fndTjqXy

📣🚨 METROPOLITAN POLICE OFFER UNRESERVED APOLOGY TO GRAHAM LINEHAN AND PAY HIM £25,000
The Metropolitan Police have at long last offered an unreserved apology to Graham Linehan and paid him £25,000.
Last September, the Irish comedian and co-creator of Father Ted was arrested by five armed police officers as he landed at Heathrow Airport.
His crime? Three gender-critical posts on X.
He was arrested, taken to a police station and questioned for several hours. In the early hours of the following morning, he was rushed to hospital after his blood pressure rose to dangerously high levels.
The Free Speech Union is proud to have supported Graham in taking legal action against the Metropolitan Police for wrongful arrest and breaches of his free speech rights.
General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, Lord Young, has said: “I’m beginning to lose count of the number of cases we’ve fought in which the police have arrested someone for a tweet, decided to take no further action and then had to pay them substantial compensation for wrongful arrest.
“At some point you’d think the penny would drop: police our streets, not our tweets.”
While we welcome the Metropolitan Police’s apology and compensation payout to @Glinner, this should never have happened in the first place.
It is high time the police focused on our streets, not our tweets.

Mikey Cullen is a far-left Dublin secondary school teacher currently on board a Sumud flotilla ship.
How many Irish children will be brainwashed by these so-called ‘educators’? @1Hildegarde
🚨🇮🇪 Mikey Cullen was arrested by IDF forces when he took part in the recent Global Sumud flotilla.
Mikey Cullen was provided with consular assistance by @dfatirl at the taxpayers’ expense.
Mikey Cullen is now in Iran—the world’s biggest sponsor of Islamic terrorism—paying his respects to a dead ‘martyr’ who is responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people in Iran and abroad including Irish UNIFIL soldier Seán Rooney.
In the meantime, @MichealMartinTD wants an EU wide inquiry into Israel’s treatment of flotilla ‘activists’ 🥴 @EUCouncil
‘History of Trust’ between the Imperial Mandatory Power France and Syria actually encompasses the invasion and deposition of the Kingdom of Syria 1920, the plan to create four or five statelets instead of Syria & Lebanon, the brutal crushing of the Great Syrian Revolt 1925 and the French attempt to stop Syrian independence 1945.
One of the parting gifts of Starmer’s Government is a controversial ban on under-16s accessing social media.
There are many concerns — both practical and moral — but one of the biggest is how such a ban could possibly be enforced.
The Technology Secretary has confirmed that the Government is considering a potential ban on VPNs.
Should the UK proceed with such a ban, it would join the likes of Iran, Iraq, Turkmenistan and North Korea.
In this week’s episode of the FSU Podcast, Lord Young answers your questions about the social media ban.
He also highlights the fact that VPN use is widespread across Government — and that parliamentarians are actively encouraged to use them.

An Italian girl politely asks an African immigrant to stop bothering the customers.
The response? Hands around her throat.
It’s only going to get worse until we start mass remigration.
SHE FILMED THE TRUTH INSIDE BRITISH CLASSROOMS
In 2005 science teacher Alex Dolan strapped on a hidden camera and walked into 4 schools in Leeds and London.
What she filmed was not shocking to anyone who has ever set foot in a British secondary school. Pupils fighting on desks. Kids swearing in teachers faces.
Staff shuffling the worst behaved pupils out of the building the moment Ofsted @Ofstednews turned up to inspect.
@Channel4 aired the footage as Undercover Teacher, part of the Dispatches @C4Dispatches strand.
Leeds City Council went to the High Court to try to block it. A judge refused the injunction and ruled the programme served the public interest.
Watching a school fake its way through an inspection turns out to be exactly the kind of thing the public has an interest in.
So naturally the system did what it does best. It went after the person who filmed the problem instead of the problem itself.
The General Teaching Council spent 4 years building a case against Dolan. In March 2009 it found her guilty of unacceptable professional conduct for breaching the trust of the pupils she filmed.
Not the staff accused of hiding disruptive kids from inspectors. Not the school that burned through 26 supply teachers in a single year. Her.
She was suspended from teaching for 12 months.
Channel 4's own deputy head of news at the time said publicly it was wrong to punish a whistleblower for this kind of work and that the messenger should not be shot.
Press Gazette @pressgazette called the ruling a sad day for journalism. That was generous.
Dolan left teaching and became a weather presenter for BBC Look East, which is either the most British redemption arc going or proof that forecasting rain is safer than forecasting institutional failure.
No school she filmed faced a tribunal. No member of staff accused of gaming an Ofsted inspection faced a tribunal. The teacher who exposed it did.

Yes. The brutality of October 7 sure showcased the global admiration of rape, murder, torture, and hostage-taking.👊
They edited the referee's wikipedia page so they could then share it and blame Egypt's loss on the Jews.
Yes, the antisemitic blame culture of the Middle East is this stupid and pathetic. Consistently, for generations, on a grand scale. There are exceedingly few failures you can't blame on the Jews in Middle Eastern discourse. Islamists blame the Jews for secularism, secularists blame the Jews for inventing ISIS.
And yes, Bassem Youssef is this, has always been this and will only ever be this.
