You can't attempt to say they deserved to win the WC when they lose in those circumstances in a qtr final.

I don't think Remco is anywhere near TP and JV. They'll destroy him in high mountains. He won a weak vuelta and this years Giro wasn't much better. If he trims down, might lose power, then his 1 day racing suffers.

@MartinL66727686 @EagleEyeEd @briancanty It's impossible to be at the tour at 100% after missing 5 weeks of training in the run up to the tour. There were questions at the start of TP too and most were how he'd be come the 3rd week. Was very even up to the TT but TP was never able to properly shake him off
