The government documents were available. The Adani Group had already denied involvement. Now Torrent Power has clarified its project.

There was no reason to make Adani the centre of these allegations without evidence.

It has drawn local protests, and opposition is linking it to Adani Group

Why that link is false:

1️⃣ The developer is Torrent Power, per official records and its own media release.
2️⃣ Adani has said it has no project in or near Bhimashankar.
3️⃣ The site is ~16 km from Bhimashankar Sanctuary, outside its Eco-Sensitive Zone. No work is planned near the temple.
4️⃣ The project went through ~18 months of statutory approvals.
5️⃣ It covers 233 ha of forest land. Torrent plans 90,000 trees plus 253 ha of compensatory afforestation (these are company commitments, not yet verified).

If the concern is the environment, question the actual developer, its permissions and its compliance. Naming an unrelated company proves nothing. Those who spread the claim should correct it.
