The world has a very specific kind of dead body it knows how to mourn. These are not it.

A Christian community in North Africa is putting its people into the ground after another Islamist massacre, and most of the West will never learn their names.

There will be no campus encampment, no urgent panel, no celebrity caption. The same institutions that can produce a slogan in an hour when the victims fit the script go quiet when the killers are men who actually say they are doing it for their “god”.

This is not a tragedy that fell out of the sky. It is a method.

Churches, villages, families, then a trench, then a burial, then silence until the next one. If your moral system only activates when Israel is in the frame, it is not a moral system. It is a filter.

Watch it. Then ask why this footage never travels.

The last IDF soldier left Gaza on September 12, 2005. The keys went to the PA.

The crossings were open. That blockade everyone complained about? It didn’t exist yet.

Rockets were already hitting Israeli towns that same day. Greenhouses bought so Palestinians could farm were looted and smashed. By night, synagogues were on fire and crowds were celebrating. Here’s what came next:

January 2006: Hamas wins the election.

June 2006: Hamas kidnaps Gilad Shalit — they would hold him for five years.

June 2007: Hamas throws Fatah off the roofs and drags them through the streets. They take the Strip.

That is when Egypt shut the border at Rafah. Israel shut what the PA no longer staffed.

“Open-air prison from the day they left” requires you first delete 2005–2007.

@pwk Never thought Iceland will vote itself into EU, tried it before and didn’t work for them, fair stand. Happy for them to stay in Schengen, b-cause of geography they’re not legitimising undesirables onto the continent. Left-radicalised themselves fast, so maybe better out than in

@adi_ninu DPDV al economiei nu sunt absolut deloc de acord cu suspendarea ND acum. Fără guvern funcțional, un referendum de suspendare acum ar fi chiar Cireașa de pe coliva, nu știu care e soluția, dat suspendare nu cred ca ne permitem momentan. Înțeleg ca pe GS nu il deranjeaza totuși
