At halftime of the girls game last night, Todd & Rosa Linder donated floor mats to GCHS in memory of their daughter Cassandra, who was killed by a distracted driver. Their donation is an effort to help spread awareness & prevent distracted driving. #1HERD

First GWAC game of the season at the house of boom for the Longhorns vs the Colby Eagles. Girls tip at 6 pm boys to follow. Catch the game on AM1030 if you can’t make it out. 🤘🏻
After a great conversation with @CoachNDreiling, I am extremely blessed to receive a scholarship offer from the University of Utah State! @CBassett_USU @HolcombFootball
Holcomb’s 6’5 305lb lineman, Drayton Knoll is a name to look out for this season. With multiple D1 offers the 3⭐️ senior has his pick of where to continue his 🏈 career next fall. When asked about his senior season Knoll says, “On the upcoming season we have the goals of winning league, districts and win as many playoff games as possible! We’ve won 7 games for the past 4 years and it would be nice to keep adding on to that!”
Knoll was a Sports in Kansas First Team Non Senior pick in 2023.

In the Family: 8 years ago in Emporia, Trey Teeter played in the Kansas Shrine Bowl on the west for Holcomb after leading the Longhorns to the state title as a senior QB. He grabbed a pic with his cousin Kooper Tichenor after the game in 2016. 8 years later in Emporia and last night, Kooper played in the 2024 Kansas Shrine Bowl game for Holcomb on the West with his cousin Trey Teeter as a coach for the West in the game, they grabbed another pic after the game. Trey is also the head coach of Holcomb HS after taking over for his father Kent who won two state titles for the Longhorns (2015, 2017). You can say sports runs in the family as Trey’s uncle and Kooper’s dad, Todd Tichenor, is a longtime MLB umpire. #sportsinkansas
