We have now completed our positive evolution through @ace_southwest Transition Funding. Thank you to everyone who has helped us land a positive close to our charity. We hope others may find our blueprint in some way inspiring, and helpful when facing unexpected change.
As CMP enters its final days of delivering a positive closure and legacy, CEO Tamzyn Smith reflects, “We can all be proud of the fact that CMP's closure is a story of teamwork, collaboration, resilience, hope, opportunistic thinking, empathy, and integrity."
We are delighted to share that the new home for our Safe Access project, working in partnership with @QueerKernow, will be @Aimuseums (AIM.) Our CMP Project Lead Jenna Marrion will be joining the AIM team to lead this project in it's new home.

We are excited to see how our work with @Carefree_fic - the Museum of Carefree and the Culture Card projects, celebrating the creativity of care experienced young people - will evolve and be further developed by the @carefree_fic team directly.
In 2022/23 our portfolio of activity, projects and programmes and £1.55m investment from 12 funders, ensured that 61 museums and heritage organisations across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly received much-needed access to dedicated support, peer networks, funding and training.
Since 2015, through 24 funders and over 41 programmes, we've unlocked £8.1m for 70+ Cornwall and IoS museums, invested £3.5+m directly into 63 museums, arts and heritage organisations, created 13 museum peer networks and supported 178 jobs for 173 people.
We're delighted to share the news that @CornwallCouncil Culture Team will be the home of our brilliant Museum Development Officer, Stephanie Clemens who will continue to support museums across Cornwall with the vital funding we have retained via @SWMuseums
We are very happy to announce that our impactful and powerful work with @BVCornwall and @museumx_uk in the creation of the documentary, “To whom does this belong” will continually be built on and carefully grown by these two brilliant partnering organisations.
As part of our positive approach to closure and legacy, we're pleased to share that our Citizen Curators learning portal will continue to be steered by a co-creator of the project, Dr. Tehmina Goskar at the @musecornishlife
We're delighted that the St Ives Digital Town Trail, funded through Central Government’s Town Deal Programme, will transition to and be further developed and delivered by the our colleagues at @leachpottery
