NEWS: McNeese freshman Larry Johnson is entering the transfer portal, he told @LeagueRDY.

The 6-foot-4 guard began his career at Creighton, where he redshirted, before playing this season at McNeese. Was named to the Southland Conference First Team.

He averaged 17.4PPG, 5.5RPG, 1.4APG and 1.2SPG in 2025-26.

@j69084 Every year there’s 3 to 5 guys who are no doubters from mid majors . Last year it was Yaxel Stirtz and Dent and they all panned out, but if you look at the range of players we were getting-the low 4 star guys from mid Majors, they weren’t exactly game changers
