Today, we’re proud to announce Databricks as the new sponsor of Cal Bears Field! 🐻
All seven of our co-founders are Cal alumni. The earliest lines of what would become Databricks were written at Berkeley’s Soda Hall, fueled by late nights and a shared belief that data and AI could accelerate human progress.
This sponsorship is our way of investing in the next generation of researchers and builders who’ll have their own breakthroughs there.
Our mission has always been to democratize data and AI. It started at Cal. We’re glad to help it continue there.
Go Bears. 💙

@HighyieldHarry brother where have you been we literally just saw the biggest mobile game in industry history (monopoly go) - they are going viral with 40yo women now
@BustedAuction I'm a weeb when it comes to cars but a Datsun 1500/1600 is another good option, thats a bit more unique while not being crazy expensive. Also some have an awesomely weird three-seater format. Otherwise all my experience is from working on a buddy's '74 spit.
@SkeleCap Somewhat orthogonal but I think we are learning there are very few truly dynamic game-makers and mostly just people who have mastered a genre enough to raise VC/Pub $$ off their historical performance (I realize that this is 1p altus)
