It is important for Marxists to have a presence in all communities.
Sports, bars, fraternities, sororities, beauty salons, run clubs, pickleball leagues, gyms, yoga classes, board game clubs, poker groups ect.
You must go live your life and share your views amongst people to make a difference.
A hate watcher came into Hasan's chat yesterday and started making the usual comments about how rich Hasan is and that he should move back to Turkey. These stunlocks where Hasan trolls the fuck out of his haters are so fucking cathartic. His initial response was everything, and this was all before he found out that the chatter is an Asmongold fan and is a Twitch streamer himself:
"Question for you: If being wealthy by your estimation means someone is of higher class, higher morals overall, why don't you know your place? If you're going to praise the wealthy, why don't you sit your ass down and listen to your superiors?"
Ugh.
Demand curves do not always slope this way. Especially for neciessities.
The graph you see in Econ 101 textbooks is a simplified example for a perfect competition, perfect information, completely identical good.
When you are talking about necessities, demand being near vertical implies it is profit maximizing for landlords to not build enough new housing, thus raising the price of housing.
In the heat of summer only a madman wears a thick overcoat. It is just the same in politics. Marx himself taught us that we should always study the existing conditions of life and act accordingly. This does not mean that we should change our convictions as a fine lady changes her gloves.
