One of the biggest disconnects in corporate.

Organizations would rather let exceptional talent go than pay them.

It never fails to blow my mind that companies will spend $150,000 recruiting a replacement before they’ll approve a $15,000 pay rise for the person who already knows how to do the job.

The way some organizations think they can bypass change management as it relates to I/O psychology is a fools errand.

Change cannot be executed without people. People are sentient. Your bright idea is nothing without your employees. The goal is to establish “allies” for change, but it starts with actually caring about your employees and not solely implementing change.

I have been reading the most horrendous Airbnb customer service issues lately. Just egregious.

Along with customer service issues, it seems there’s a general dissatisfaction with the company.

When I started using the service in 2016 it was great. I’ve stayed in shared spaces, entire homes, etc. But then came the rules and the creepy cameras. Personally, I’ve experienced a few less than clean and funny smelling properties.

From a host perspective, I get it. But as a consumer I’ve since gone back to hotels.

It’ll be interesting to see how they course correct this. Hint: it has to be more than “air bnb credits”

It can work both ways though.
People really shoot themselves in the foot with this mindset.
I don’t say this to pat myself on the back, but I’ve never had this issue & it’s enriched my life greatly.
I’ve had great learning experiences with ‘kids’ half my age.

I understand everything you just wrote Joseph.

It is a gift that’s received by faith. In the beginning, for some, it does appear it’s something that’s conjured.

When I first received the gift I had a hard time with it. Your natural mind cannot comprehend what it’s hearing. I felt opposition as well. Thoughts of ‘this isn’t real’ you sound ridiculous, etc.

So I stopped. A gift I practically begged God for lol, got put down for a year until God sent someone in my life to bring clarity & understanding.

Now, it’s effortless, if you will—meaning I can speak at will just like English.
Sometimes in prayer, there is no English spoken. Just tongues & listening.
I sing to the Lord in tongues.

It is truly edifying, my friend.

I’m sorry this experience was misappropriated for you as a child. It should have been throughly explained in a way you could comprehend.

I assure you though, there is nothing ‘weird’ about it, more like supernatural.
It’s a gift, that if embraced by believers becomes life changing. It’s a heavenly language that cannot be interrupted by the enemy. It’s also not a salvation issue, people do not have to receive the gift to get to heaven—but yet it remains a polarizing topic

I will say one thing, and this is just in general, the god of this world does an excellent job at distorting the supernatural aspects of The Kingdom.
And humans often bash what they can’t fathom.
For me personally, if God can thrown a man inside a whale for 3 days, speaking the language of the Holy Spirit shouldn’t be a far stretch lol

Above all, we have the ability to seek Truth, we just have to really want to know it.
