Or… hear me out… maybe he actually thinks the risk is real. You’re treating this as if the existence of a profit motive invalidates the underlying argument. If Anthropic had no ability to make a dollar from AI, the potential risks wouldn’t suddenly disappear. You can argue he’s overstating those risks, but “regulatory capture” doesn’t actually answer the argument.
SAN DIEGO – Stock trading dates back to the 17th century in Amsterdam where the first formal stock exchange took place. The launch of Nasdaq in 1971 ushered in the modern era of digital trading.

Started Beestow from an idea at a kid's birthday party — the invite said "no toys," everyone brought gift cards, and I kept thinking there should be a way to give a stock instead.
Launched last month with @Correia333 — our 3rd startup together. Week 6: apps live on both stores, now figuring out distribution.

Ask me if I'm short $PLTR.
Plethora of reasons to be bearish in the near-term.
- Lost the channel and hasn't looked back since mid-Jan
- Failed to recapture ~$160 area
- Death cross confirmed
- Massive bearish engulfer today
- Looking straight down into a volume cavern
- Seasonally, April by far $PLTR worst month of the year
- New, very real competition lining up, capable of taking significant market share.
- One of the most ridiculously valued companies on the planet.
Common sense smell test:
$PLTR Mkt. Cap = $340B
$PLTR Quarterly Rev. = $1.4B (most recent)
$GOOGL Mkt. Cap = $3.8T
$GOOGL Quarterly Rev. = $114B
$CRM Mkt. Cap = $160B
$CRM Quarterly Rev. = $11B
$GOOGL - more than 80x $PLTR revenue but $PLTR just 1/10th the price.
$CRM - Half the price of $PLTR with almost 8x the revenue

Do this with essentially any other company (even ones with relatively "rich" valuations) and it really starts to put it into perspective.
Nothing against the company or it's tech but......
I need to see at least $100 before I would consider nibbling.
