Islam is the sanctification of man’s most corrupted instincts.

It takes what is base in human nature and give it a divine sanction.

Man’s desire to dominate women? Islam codifies it. Veiling, polygamy, child marriage, testimony worth half a man’s, all justified as God’s will.

The tribal impulse of “my group over yours”? Islam raises it to the level of theology: believers vs. infidels, the ummah against the world.

The lust for supremacy and conquest? Islam call it jihad and makes it a religious demand.

The primal rage at dissent? Islam turns it into law: apostasy punishable by death.

Man’s lust for unlimited sex? Islam provides it: four wives, temporary marriages, concubines, sex slaves, and the promise of virgins in paradise.

This is why Islam went global. It spread because it indulged what was already animal in humans.

It is like pornography, irresistible to the flesh, destructive to the soul.

It thrives because it removes all discipline from sexuality, power and ego.

It appeals to the raw, the unrefined, the barbaric impulse in man, and calls it holy.

The West, by contrast, was built on the exact opposite impulse. The Judeo-Christian tradition does not legitimize man’s depravity, it restrains it.

Western civilization is not the freedom of instincts but the discipline of them.

It is the recognition that man’s raw impulses lead to tyranny, slavery, and barbarism unless they are checked by higher law.

The clash between Islam and the West is not merely geopolitical. It is civilizational at the deepest level:

Whether human nature should be indulged or disciplined, whether man’s lowest instincts are to be worshipped or restrained.

I'm a second-generation bookseller. My family runs Houston's largest used & rare bookstore and I'm building an AI tool for used bookstores. We got hit by exactly these orders, including a single order for 70 obscure books that made us pause online sales entirely. So I dug in. I don't think this connects the way people want it to.

Every ingredient of the viral story is true. ISBNdb really does advertise sourcing books for AI companies. Anthropic really did destructively scan millions of books though they were mostly acquired through things like library deaccessions, not bookstore inventory. And booksellers really are getting bizarre bulk orders. But "rare" here isn't what you're picturing. It's The Insider's Guide to Metro Denver (1995) and how-to-use-WordPerfect 1991 manuals. Obscure, but often not precious.

When we combed through our orders, nearly every book bought from us was either unavailable on Amazon or listed there at 5, 10, 20x our price on the platform they were purchased on. And the shipments are going to FBA prep companies: which is what you do with a book you're about to resell, not one you're about to cut apart. There is more than circumstantial evidence that this is a well-funded company running algorithmic arbitrage, buying underpriced or out-of-stock books to relist on Amazon at markup. This evidence includes an official denial that they are selling to train AI but I don't want to mention them for several reasons. You can Google it.

That's more mundane than the shredder story. The actual risk is worse, though, because it's quieter: books that don't sell via FBA eventually get liquidated. If we really hold the last copies of some of these (and comparing platforms, it looks like we might) we're feeding them into a portal they may not come back from. No AI company required.

Everyone assumes the internet preserved everything. It didn't. Many of these books have almost no metadata anywhere, just a scattered listings across proprietary databases then nothing. That's what my project is for: building better bibliographic records for these books than exist anywhere else, so we at least have a map of what we stand to lose. So the Library of Alexandria is still burning, just more slowly, and kore from “who cares” than from some cinematic villain.

Pakistan has its own space programme, yet we send it £133 million a year in aid while shutting down Britain's largest space telescope because we “can't afford” a few million.

This telescope helped inspire generations of scientists.

If we keep cutting investment in our own scientific infrastructure while other nations push ahead, we'll only fall further behind.

I hope this decision is reversed. Britain should be investing in its future, not dismantling it.

Abdul Ballout was born in Berlin, but he left Germany for Lebanon.

Germany identified him as an Islamist threat, so they had him arrested in Lebanon and FLEW HIM BACK TO GERMANY to put him on trial for plotting terror attacks.

He was convicted and sentenced for terrorism offences in May 2026 but released on time served.

By July 2026 he was back on the streets.

German authorities told him to attend de-radicalisation counselling sessions.

He responded by carrying out a jihadist terrorist attack on a pride parade.

Over a five-year span, out of 15K children diagnosed with gender dysphoria at the UK's only pediatric gender clinic, four committed suicide. This is a higher rate than the baseline population of those not diagnosed with gender dysphoria, but it is not a higher rate than that of the populations diagnosed with the other mental health comorbidities (depression, anxiety, OCD) that virtually every child diagnosed with gender dysphoria also suffers from. Suicide is vanishingly rare in children and is also vanishingly rare in mentally ill children and vanishingly rare in gender dysphoric children. It is not a meaningful factor in any policy decision.

The claim that maintaining a sex-based boundary that allows fair competition for girls in athletics consigns anyone anywhere to death is a manipulative lie: it is sheer gaslighting by those attempting to force society to do away with reasonable boundaries that society has a right to enforce. No boy who says he is a girl is banned from athletic competition: since athletics is one of the many domains in which sex matters, it is one of the many domains in which the sexes are separated. Boys who say they are girls, boys who suffer from gender dysphoria, boys whose whole heart is invested in becoming something they are not and can never be, are not actually girls. They are boys and thus they must be separated in the domains where sex matters.

Anderson's long rant is a paradigm case of the hysterical, histrionic, gaslighting sophistry through which the transgender movement proceeds at every stage: it brainwashes children to yearn to be chemically castrated and dismembered if they don't conform to gendered stereotypes and teaches them to threaten suicide if they don't get their way. Teachers and gender clinicians join in this emotional blackmail to force parents to consent to irreversible medical procedures that will leave their children harmed and often sterilized. The state joins in and pressures parents who won't play along with a socially contagious pseudo-identity that their pubescent children adopted from online grooming sites, up to and including seizing custody if they won't affirm. It then uses these brainwashed, medically harmed children to blackmail the rest of society into taking down reasonable boundaries that it has a right and duty to enforce.

It depends at every stage on lying: lying about medical evidence, which has never existed for the claim that chemically castrating and dismembering a child to resemble the sex he is not is a safe or helpful or medically necessary way to ensure his or her survival; above all, lying about the risks and harms and trade-offs demanded of others.

This is why the suicide risk has loomed so large as a rhetorical weapon in the hands of ruthless liars like Joel Anderson: if the boy's risk is infinite, if his life is at stake, the harm done to girls who won't be able to win championships or compete against members of their sex class reduces down to nothing. One can scoff at it, one can accuse those who regard and treat it as a legitimate interest of a murderous indifference to the lives of others.

But all of this rests upon a false claim: it rests upon a lie. Perhaps Anderson believes the lie because he only accepts propaganda as all he needs to know; perhaps he knowingly deploys the lie in order to gaslight and manipulate others in order to masquerade as on the side of decency and goodness and light to an audience of others who propagate lies and believe lies as the only truth.

What I do know is that Anderson, whom I have never heard of before today, already has me blocked. This means he made preemptive efforts to prevent himself from learning that the lie at the foundation of his maudlin manipulation is a lie -- which of course means that he had to know the thing that he took steps to ensure he didn't know in order not to know it.

The whole transgender inquisition depends on such acts of self-delusion.

Trouble is, 'trans' isn't an adjective. 'Trans woman' is a compound noun meaning 'man who wants to be considered a woman.' If the individual being described isn't trans, he's simply a man, whereas a bespectacled woman remains a woman even if she's not wearing glasses.
