I'm aghast at the sick, ironic symmetry in the 19 children killed offset by 19 cops that loitered in the halls during the incident. "It was the wrong decision" just doesn't cut it. Uvalde proves the system is broken. We can't afford to trust a system that can fail so egregiously.

Most of the children killed were about 10 years old, which is 120 months. Add another 9 for being full-term pregnancies.

129 months ÷ 3 months in a trimester = 43
