We are the only developed country in the world that doesn’t guarantee paid leave for workers, and 95% of our nation’s lowest wage workers—disproportionately women and workers of color—lack any access to paid family leave. RT if you agree that this is unacceptable.
Me at the grocery store: I wonder what changes the world will embrace to ensure we don’t have another pandemic.
My wife: those children just picked up Starbucks mugs, licked them, and put them back. And their dad said, “hey, no, we don’t do that here,” and they just walked away.
And now it’s revealed that this person showed up to members of Congress’ doors with folks from the mob who infiltrated the Capitol, beat Capitol Police, and strung up nooses in front of the House.
If the shoe were on the other foot, the GOP would be calling for my expulsion.
So... are evil twin decks super common? I pulled 3 out of 12 evil twins in my box of #Keyforge DT. 🤷♂️
Was also surprised to see this land on my doorstep today. I had totally forgotten the outside world was a thing for the most part.
Big news from the CDC: If you’re fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask – indoors or outdoors, in most settings.

Oh please. Pushing to close the loopholes that amicus brief filers use to keep their corporate funders secret doesn’t make someone an enemy of the courts – it makes them a champion for a functioning judicial system that isn’t captured by the rich and powerful.
In Florida, Black people make up 16% of the population and 46% of the incarcerated population. Median household income is $20,000 less for Black families than white families. Infant mortality is twice as high for Black babies.
Was watching a streamer play NieR Replicant and my head almost snapped off my shoulders when I first heard Grimoire Weiss start talking.
@VoiceOfOBrien much ❤️ and hope you and yours are healthy and doing well through this pandemic.
Interesting. The Republican Party claims to be the party of the working class. Yet, according to a recent Pew poll, 63% of lower-income Republicans support the covid relief bill that we just passed - but not one Republican voted for it. They sure LOVE working people. No doubt.
Things the GOP cares about:
- Mr. Potato Head
- Dr. Seuss
- MyPillow
Things the GOP doesn’t care about:
- democracy
- voting rights
- punishing insurrection
BREAKING: The House just passed H.R. 1, the sweeping voting rights and ethics reform bill. The vote was 220-210. Not a single Republican voted in favor of the bill.
I guess we really are at the point where a life and death “last stand” is over whether to wear some fabric over your mouth in public for the next few months. Pathetic. And recklessly irresponsible.
