It's over a decade old. And it's still the Number 1 book for learning statistics and data science.
This is why.
Functional outcomes after primary vs delayed robot-assisted radical prostatectomy following active surveillance
https://t.co/t2A8TevhQz
This study aimed to compare functional outcomes in men with low and favorable intermediate-risk #ProstateCancer (PCa) who underwent either primary or delayed robot-assisted radical prostatectomy after a period of active surveillance. Using data from the National Prostate Cancer Register of Sweden🇸🇪the outcomes of 2,571 men who had primary prostatectomy were compared with 921 men who underwent delayed prostatectomy.
The results showed no significant difference in overall quality of life or erectile dysfunction between the two groups. However, urinary incontinence was slightly more common after delayed prostatectomy.
The findings suggest that active surveillance does not have a significant detrimental effect on functional outcomes, supporting its use for men with low and favorable intermediate-risk PCa.

🔎 Our study finds that 13.5% of men initially eugonadal showed tT levels suggestive of TD at 3-month follow-up. These men had reduced baseline testicular volume and abnormal karyotype.
