Sleeping for an additional 11 minutes each night, doing 4.5 more minutes of brisk walking and eating an extra 50g of vegetables each day can significantly reduce a person’s risk of a heart attack
Just these changes can reduce heart attacks and strokes by 10%
When it comes to your children’s health, listen to doctors.
Not a president who once told Americans to inject bleach.
The American Academy of Pediatrics’ immunization recommendations have not changed.
The new EO on vaccines will make life harder & more expensive for parents who want to vaccinate their kids.
What used to be one office visit + one low-cost combo MMR shot (~$10–$75 range… or free under VFC) will now be THREE separate shots at three separate visits.
MORE trips, MORE time off work, MORE admin fees, MORE hassle, MORE pain for America’s children - and higher odds kids miss doses.
“Big Pharma” & healthcare providers? They could actually sell/administer THREE TIMES the product and bills for three visits under this EO! 🤯🤔
I’m a doctor. This executive order is wrong. The President does not have the expertise to make these changes.
Vaccines are overwhelmingly safe. Vaccines are effective. Vaccines DO NOT cause autism.
Breaking up vaccines will mean children have to get more shots to get the same protection, not fewer shots. It will increase hesitancy and make children less safe.
Parents should listen to their child’s pediatrician about vaccines rather than listening to an inaccurate executive order. This is so wrong.

Today marks the 61st anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. Signed into law on August 6, 1965, it outlawed literacy tests, poll taxes in federal elections, and other obstacles to voting. The Act led to dramatic increases in Black voter registration.
Here are some of the songs I've been listening to this summer. It starts with a song Michelle and I love by Glen Hansard, a great musician who passed tragically this week. Our hearts go out to his family.
I’ve been asked by friends and media to comment on the recent Dr. Fauci document dump. There are plenty of people in Washington, D.C. who say and do things more for themselves than for our country. Tony Fauci is not one of them. He served this nation -mostly in the shadows - for 50+ years, until a pandemic and an election suddenly thrust him into the spotlight. Like any of us, I’m sure there are things he would do differently with the benefit of hindsight. But I 💯 believe everything he said and did was driven by the best intentions for our country. 1/3
