@pbastowski Definitely want to make use of A12 in the next few months. Exposure performance should improve some but raw capture is tricky and for longer shutter times the majority of time is spent waiting. Excited about the possibilities for image processing though.

Cortex Cam 2.15 is out! It includes fixes for iPhone XS, large screen support, improved shutter sound, saved exposure settings, and a few other fixes and tweaks.

I'm back to work on some new image processing stuff and I'm hoping to get that released in an update in the next few months. The amount of processing horsepower on newer phones is incredible making for lots of opportunity for improvements!

ViewTracker took waay longer than I hoped but I'm proud of the result. Stable head tracking with just a webcam was not easy. Now that it's out I'm planning to do a much needed update for Cortex Cam on Android. Also hope to have an update out for iOS by the end of the year.

@swrobel It can be helpful in this situation. Set exposure for the bright spots and let enhance shadows brighten the dark areas.

Because of drawbacks with raw, version 2.12 (just approved!) adds the option to use video input like previous versions

@AndresJarpa sorry about this :( I think purple artifacts are due to a bug in remove motion blur, try turning that option off

Re shutter sound, there is no way to capture raw data through the video API. Only way is to capture stills which triggers shutter sound.
