Corurban Foundation brings digital literacy to Meenapura village

We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully supported the setting up of the first computer lab in Meenapura village.

#corurban #digitalinclusion #ruraldevelopment #computerskills #educationforall

[corurban @corurban]

This project is part of our mission to bridge the digital divide and empower rural communities with access to technology and education. We would like to thank our donors, school authorities and volunteers who made this possible.

[corurban @corurban]

For a successful project, it is important to bring together various stakeholders including the local community (represented by the RWA), local elected councillor (Nigam Parshad), waste management experts (Shyamala Mani) and the bureaucrats (IAS officers and engineers).

Let's create a zero waste neighbourhood - Seeking support!

Life in an urban village of Delhi: After the rains, the streets turn into rivers #DelhiRains #UrbanVillageLife

[corurban @corurban]

Immensely grateful for the love and support we received from all who gathered to celebrate with us at Triveni Auditorium and witness the scintillating musical performance by Debojyoti Mukherjee (Sitar) and Shubh Maharaj (Tabla).

Do you think just constructing a toilet is enough to improve sanitation and hygiene conditions?

It is important to encourage and promote safe hand-washing and hygiene habits from a young age. The community spearheaded the construction process while we oversaw the construction remotely through video calls.

Handwashing platforms should be designed keeping in mind the end users. A two-level platform at different heights was designed by Corurban at Meenapura School campus, intended to enable small children to comfortably wash their hands.
