Hi everyone! I'm Eileen Laubacher, the Democrat, retired U.S. Navy Admiral, and mother of five running against Lauren Boebert here in Colorado.
I'd love if you could follow and RT to help me get to 7,500 followers. Let's get rid of Boebert in November!
PS... love the fan art!
We're excited to announce that our May meeting voted unanimously to approve affiliation of CUPE 3787, representing members employed in fundraising, data, digital, communications,field/organising. We welcome Local 3787 to our growing Labour Council!

Lots of Canadians need Canada Post to do basic banking. Not everyone has or can use the internet. If a company is going bankrupt you blame management NOT workers.
Canada Post is an essential service for security and humanitarian reasons. Stand with #CUPW
BREAKING: Visual Effects (VFX) workers for Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Pictures, and the 'Avatar' movie franchise have voted overwhelmingly to ratify their first union contracts.
This is decades in the making.
The Bloc would be foolish not to challenge the results in Terrebonne. The court would be foolish to let the outcome stand.
Our elections are free and fair. But no election is perfect at scale. In this case, an error seems to have affected the outcome.
Run that election again.
I mean, wasn't Elenore Sturko a police officer?
You would think that she - of all people - would understand how the law works?
This is a wild demonstration of incompetence in understanding how laws are legislated and enforced from someone who should know better.
Did Elenore Sturko guide the whistleblower through the correct, legal protocols as outlined in PIDA to come forward?
Or, did she run with it, without any demonstrable concern for the possible legal consequences (of which she should be well aware) the whistleblower would face?
It's wild how "tough on crime" Elenore Sturko demands the government to be "tough on crime"... except for when it applies to *apparent* breaches of law that involve herself.
Let me re-write that for you: "Carney returns federal government to building affordable homes like it used to, and like almost every other developed country does" #cdnpoli
The lack of emphasis in Canadian labour movement on strengthening the legal framework to better enable workers to, you know… access collective bargaining … is mind-scratching.
Expanding collective bargaining coverage is one of the most important guardrails vs authoritarianism.
