I'm going to keep posting a few things here until the end of the month, but I plan to make the full transition to Threads and Bluesky after that. Leon can eat shit.
Snack Shack: Felt Linklater-esque except there was some actual heartfelt moments instead of just a fun romp the entire time. That said, it's a summer break coming of age flick set in the early 90s, so I obviously loved it. 3.5/5
The Substance: Body horror really isn't my thing despite the impression I've given over the last few months, but I do get where this one was coming from at least. Truly wasn't expecting it to end with a GWAR performance. 2.5/5

@annie__walsh Not yet! It's still on the list along with some other slashers we talked about, but I'm trying to space out the horror movies after my Hellraiser marathon in October and for whatever reason Street Trash was calling to me.
At some point there needs to be an iOS update that lets you turn off sound in apps. There’s no reason a tiny ad should overtake the music I’m actively playing.
I’ve watched a lot of bad Wolves basketball over the years and this defense looks like one of the most lackadaisical I can remember. There’s no fight in these guys.
