I just stopped wearing a collared shirt last year, after nine straight years of it (and many more, pre-crypto). Now I have to button up again?? Life is unfair.
Is it just me or is ChatGPT getting less... good? I requested a vanity logo for my name, with parameters.
Here's how it spelled CORY A ROSS (all caps re prompt):
- CORYO A ROSS
- CORY O ROSS ROSS
- COROY A ROSS
- COORY A ROSS
- COORY A ROSS (but with the letters spaced out)
my mother-in-law is visiting and is watching one tree hill. chad michael murray is towing a car in a field next to a tree or a hill or something and this mysterious girl is there and she’s wearing a ramones tshirt and he glances at her books and goes “that’s me inside your head” and she said “what?” and he goes “it’s a song. nofx. like your sticker.” and she says “yeah i know the song” and turns away and makes a phone call.
SHE’S SO PUNK ROCK BUT SO IS HE!!!!
also she's wearing a smart jacket but it's made of leather so you know she's up to no good despite all those non-load-bearing buttons.
I think I'll continue paying for both ChatGPT and Claude. Might even upgrade Claude from Pro to Max (someday, not today).
My last Q got such a detailed response from Claude (especially in comparison to asking ChatGPT the same question) that it was almost too much info. I had to scale back the request.
I like pitting them against each other for the best response. Like putting a humidifier and dehumidifer in the same room and letting them fight it out.
Deciding which AI to pay for is, I'm finding, like choosing which streaming service to keep
In my analogy @ChatGPTapp = @netflix. We have history.
Still working on a @claudeai comp but I'm leaning @HBO. Something about higher quality...
This analogy is a WIP. Will report back.
Worth $4B in 2021, loses 99% of its top value, sells for pennies on the dollar in 2026… I work in this industry and even I didn’t know Allbirds was an NFT.

I'm leaning into this split as well. I have a @perplexity_ai sub that I get free from my cell provider. Not sure I'll re-up since it uses lesser models of the other two (+ others I haven't explored). I like their news feature, though. Almost worth it for the personalized newsfeed.
So much of my life is currently soundtracked by Patrick Stump, who does the theme songs for both "Hot Wheels" AND "Spidey and His Amazing Friends." Not to mention several others.
Once again, Big Fallout Boy stays rich by getting to us through our toddlers.
