@zagreus_sits It's mad that on GallifreyBase you have had people involved in these sets in some capacity still saying not to judge before the sets are released, followed up by no actual response from them once the sets are out.
I'll be the first person to criticise The Game Awards, but to call it "high class" and "snobby" feels a bit delusional.
They aren't a celebration of gaming for the same reason they could never be considered high class, it's a multi-hour advert compilation.
Of course he didn't.
They are all slowly finally seeing what Nintendo noticed ages ago: The TGAs aren’t a celebration of gaming, they’re a high-class, snobby event. It’s dangerously close to imploding, and anyone hyping it up too much now get caught in the backlash soon enough.
A real lack of critical thinking in this thread.
Is the problem with them the twenty years of budget cuts and redundancies, which means the department is operating dramatically understaffed many on less than they'd earn at a supermarket, or that they slowly moved out of London
