@DavidCBets Again, you alluded to the idea that a player using his stick to restrict a goaltender on a loose puck was ok. Obviously, by the rule book, it’s not. I agree, it would be more likely an interference call but the groundwork for the infraction is found in rule 55.

@DavidCBets Honestly I’m not surprised it didn’t get called. You’re right, it’s a mess. But you started by making a comment about flyers fans watching hockey for the first time. It’s not crazy for someone to see that play and want a call for leaning on the goalie’s arm with the stick.

@DavidCBets lol buddy, if a goalie has their arm restricted from playing the puck, that’s a penalty. Just like it would be a hook for anyone else on the ice.
