If I had a time machine, I would go put this book into my 18-year-old hands. @Langley_Brandon has written a great book for Christians answering an essential question "where should I go to church?" https://t.co/wvD75R1DCP
I got to spend some time on the Flint River hanging out with my Dad and brother and catching Shoal Bass. I grew up swimming and paddling the Flint, it was good to spend some time on the river again.
From @collinhansen's article earlier this week @TGC.
Our SBC seminaries do not hold to biblical orthodoxy for the sake of enrollment. Instead, God continues to bless our faithfulness to His Word by allowing us to equip more students for His work.
Today is #GivingTuesday, so you will see many requests in your feed to give to various causes.
Here is my pitch: If you want to contribute to gospel work in local churches and among the nations, consider giving to the Providence Fund of @NOBTS.

Tonight in family worship:
Me: Is there anything we need to be praying for?
11 Year Old: My friend is sick.
9 Year Old: No

Me: Is the giraffe sick?
3 Year Old: My to have a Giraffe
This is a great story about a faithful pastor, who is also an alumnus of @NOBTS. I am thankful for Andy Baker and I pray that God raises up thousands of pastors with his dedication to stay the course and preach the Word.

I was blessed to preach a fall retreat for the middle schoolers from Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.
@belmore_andrew, @QuintAdkins, and others did a phenomenal job leading worship.
I was impressed with how dedicated these middle schoolers are to the Word and worship.
Christians need the Sabbath
Not because it's a "life hack"
Not because it's legalistic
Because our Father gives us the Sabbath as a sign of His finished work and His presence with us.

About a month ago, my oldest daughter asked a question about how American Christians should participate in elections. This article with @TGC came from our conversation.

Once again, thank you all for the prayers and support! The campus held strong through hurricane Francine and we have minimal damage. More importantly, all of our people are safe and well! Thankful! @NOBTS@LeavellCollege
Congratulations to my friend, student, and former RA camper Cody Roberts on the publication of his recent article in @etsjets! This article started as an @NOBTS PhD seminar paper. Proud of Cody who is a great example of a faithful pastor theologian.
I am reading an author who overuses long sentences. It is the worst.
It is also me.
I am reading my own dissertation as I turn it into a book.
Apparently, I didn't know there was a period key just next to the one for a comma.
I am excited about serving NOBTS as the Graduate Dean! Please pray for our students and faculty as they prepare for the upcoming semester. Pray that churches will be strengthened by what is happening on our campus, in our city, and in digital classrooms worldwide.
We are excited to announce @coryryanbarnes as our new Dean of Graduate Studies!
We are grateful for Dr. Barnes and his service to our great school, and we are excited about the future of our graduate program under his leadership.
