My review of the recent advances in neuroimaging of AD is out! Based on my Year in Review talk from the Alzheimer's Imaging Consortium last year. Would like to take a moment to give a HUGE THANKS to the reviewers of this paper - absolute legends: https://t.co/8VmWZiES27
Newest paper from the Cosentino Lab is now online! We found that measuring Subjective Cognitive Decline (SCD) by asking about cognition *compared to others of the same age* optimizes the relationship between SCD and objective measures of cognitive functioning.
These findings suggest that *how* we ask people about their subjective cognition (eg. how is your memory compared to others your age vs. compared to 5 years ago) might be key in determining who will go on to develop dementia
New paper out in Cortex! We examine genetic mutation carriers in the prodromal stage of bvFTD, and find memory & semantic weaknesses in MAPT mutations, poor executive skills in GRN mutations and mildly slowed processing speed in C9orf72 mutations
