@Spawn_of_Al@bonchieredstate He’s experienced and capable. A Senator needs to understand and represent the interests of South Carolina. He’s the only candidate qualified in that regard. He’s also not a crazy loon.
I still can't get over how good this is. Conservatives have always stuck with the "It doesn't work" argument against Leftism while pointing to their charts and graphs, hoping people will follow along.
But THIS is the argument to make. 👇Leftism is ugly. It's repulsive. It's disgusting. It's lame. It's immoral. It's boring. It's depressing.
This isn't a fight between two competing economic models, one of which happens to work better. This is a fight between beauty and ugliness. Building and destruction. Thankfulness and resentment. Love and hate. Greatness and cowardice. Good and evil.
The succubus right is exhausting, sucking all the joy out of life. Don't go see Nolan, "it's woke." Don't watch sports. "It's woke." Don't do this. Don't shop there. It's like the Left — draining the joy from life in the name of some weird purity.
The stupid push for permanent Daylight Saving Time combines the three dysfunctions that drive our politics today: ignorance of history, failure to consider trade-offs, and whining that is vastly disproportionate to the problem at hand. https://t.co/VkHh5YAly6
@MarccusGarvey@FindleysFinance Same. Being beaten down by short selling campaign. But it will be way up this time next year once commercial picture develops fully.
@guypbenson Thomas is aggressively fine with disposal of wrong precedent. Which I like, but he has to wait for others to come to him (the Chief being the hardest sell but Kav is sort of an institutionalist himself). Alito, Barrett and Gorsuch are Thomas's strongest allies in his quest.
