FYI @cosinerobots we are starting to sell cycloidal actuators. Our prices are lower than Chinese alternatives pre-tariffs. We are also working actively on magnet free, separately-excited motor based actuators for robotics, releasing in a few months. DMs open if anyone is interested.

From our archives - A hand design we made a few months ago with 10 motors per hand, 2 per finger for curling and lateral movement. Linkage mechanism to curl 2 joints using one motor.
Not back-drivable though.
