Me: I’m going to be normal about The Freak Circus.

Also me, 5 minutes later: creates another OC and gives them an unnecessarily tragic backstory.

@Storyteller_32 As a fanfic writer myself, I genuinely don’t see why some of the writers are offended by this? To me, having your work downloaded is a compliment because the reader genuinely enjoyed it that much. ;w;

@Euly_y I’m screaming because I literally have this exact top, except it’s a shirt. 😭😂 It’s definitely screaming Harlequin though.

I see some people talking about deleting their fan fiction when AO3 comes back online. You're not comfortable with the fact people have been downloading them and sharing them with others who clearly loved them enough to want to save them?

Okay, cool, that's your prerogative. Me? I've always written for the fandom, for the fans. Read my stories! Download them, share them, maybe even find me on socials and let me know if you enjoyed it if you so wish. All I ask is you do not repost them as your own, as they do not belong to anyone else in that way.

The point is, they might be stories written by me, but they're not my characters and I didn't just write them for me, I wrote them for the fandom to enjoy. It boggles my mind that people are all "when AO3 is back I'm deleting everything"

Okay. You do you, boo. Your fandom won't miss people like you who are clearly only in it for engagement. I personally want my stories to live forever! Some I don't even have the original copies of anymore (RIP laptop of 2012-2019) so if people have downloaded them and are sharing them now, that makes my heart happy. They live on, as I wanted them to, one way or another 🫶

I have 5 of my most recent stories on Drive in EPUB format. Are they perfect? No, but they're readable at least!

@huivenscloud Am I the only one misunderstanding why this is such a bad thing? To me, as a fanfic writer, it’s a huge compliment knowing my readers are out there downloading and sharing my work, like ??

[CosmicStar @CosmicStar97]

@addinavi As a fanfic writer, I find it as a compliment if my readers are downloading my works to read them. 😭 I don’t see why this is such a big deal.

[CosmicStar @CosmicStar97]

@wattpad I’d rather wait for ao3 to return, you banned smut, Wattpad isn’t worth it anymore.

[CosmicStar @CosmicStar97]

@jiminihavejames Wattpad banned smut, for one. A horrible decision on their end.

[CosmicStar @CosmicStar97]

@pggyolson Wait, people are downloading the fics we write, and the writers are upset that our writing means that much to the readers, that they want to download it to be able to still read it?? To me as a writer, that’s a huge ass compliment. 😭

[CosmicStar @CosmicStar97]

No one’s giving Wattpad another chance, because your app banned smut.

[Wattpad @wattpad]

people will get back with their toxic exes hundreds of times but won't give the orange fanfic app another chance

Happy birthday Doctor and also Happy Halloween~
#TheFreakCircus #thefreakcircusdoctor

Made some quick pics of Doc (basically himself) as Dr. Frankenstein, Harlequin (w/ doc) as The Frankenstein's Monster, Pierrot = werewolf, TT = invisible man, and Jester is dracula.

Enjoyyy
