@Kaju_Nut I think the main challenge is to get the tickets. One needs to buy them online in advance and they get sold out very fast. If I manage to buy them I will definitely go.

@TradeTexasBig Yes that’s happening anyway, because ML application are becoming more and more popular in physics along with other sciences. But ML people would also need to come in with physics knowledge. I don’t think only experience with industry applications would suffice.

Fun fact: in Japanese the character (or kanji) for moon and month are the same, because they have a lunar calendar. The kanji is 月(gatsu/getsu). So September is 九月 or kugatsu (9th month) and Monday is 月曜日 or getsuyoubi (Moon Day).
