This is timelapse of stars orbiting the supermassive black hole that lies at the heart of the Milky Way over a period of nearly 20 years.
No hurricane has ever dared to cross the equatorโthe invisible line where Earthโs spin loses its sideways kick.
The Coriolis force, that subtle twist given by our planetโs rotation, is what sets these storms spinning in the first place. At the equator it drops to zero. Without it, a tropical cyclone canโt organize, canโt tighten into that familiar spiral, and simply falls apart. So the storms stay in their hemispheres: counterclockwise north of the line, clockwise south of it, forever separated by a meteorological no-manโs-land.

In preparation for its first Trojan asteroid encounter, NASA's Lucy spacecraft took images of its future targets - Eurybates, Polymele, Leucus, and Orus.
The spacecraft will fly past these four asteroids between August 2027 and November 2028.
