How many validator nodes should @osmosiszone have?

Lowering the active set barely impacts decentralization metrics - and one argument against lowering inflation has been ensuring that all validators can afford to operate.

What if Osmosis eventually went to zero inflation and only had the validators that protocol revenue supports?

This draft proposal would reduce the active set from 150 to 120 to examine the impact on both:
🧪Consensus time for even faster blocks
🧪The distribution of stake throughout the set

📢Namada is set to roll out its v0.22.0 testnet on 12th September, 2023, at 17:00 UTC.

This update addresses the storage creep issues and introduces a refined gas and fee system, ensuring transactions lacking sufficient gas are promptly rejected.

Additionally, to mirror the forthcoming mainnet environment, validators must now ensure they always maintain enough funds in the faucet to cover fees.

🟡 Genesis participants are encouraged to submit PRs ahead of the testnet release.
🟡 The chain-id will be disclosed closer to the new testnet's launch.
🟡 New validators should ensure their .toml is submitted for review by 11th September 2023.

The new Devnet, named “Adaman”, will soon be public, and those who showed interest in providing RPC support will be contacted soon.

Very supportive of automating double sign slashes. Due to KMS' malicious consumer chain software couldn't force double signs even if they tried.
