@trq212 That's...bs. something more happened. I've never hit my max 20 limit in a session until yesterday. For the weekly, the most I got to was 70%. Yesterday I hit the limit in 4 sessions. And those 4 sessions used 31% of my weekly. I haven't changed a single thing about my workflow
@AIMachineDream@VahidK The problem with that is that I wouldn't be able to be classed as a GI then, nor would the vast majority if not all the other humans I know and/or have ever encountered. We keep shifting the definition of what a general intelligence is. If you think most humans aren't a GI...
@ClemanceMartin@energystatsuk@OctopusEnergy damn, that sucks. can't you use the physical buttons or the web application at https://t.co/7DjbF6yrlc . I can also see they have an API so it should be possible to talk to it.
@ClemanceMartin@energystatsuk@OctopusEnergy Why would you need Octopus or the bat suppliers to explain anything about control?
You set your inverter to charge or discharge the bats at whatever times you want. The battery supplier has nothing to do with it. Nor does Octopus for that matter, they dont control my kit.
@IanStockport@CheadleBiker@energystatsuk@OctopusEnergy This will depend on your inverter, but basically you physically use the menu on it to program charging/discharging times and rates, or use the app it comes with or a custom solution. In my case, I just manually set the discharge times on the mobile app. Working on automating it.
@MooreK20@OctopusEnergy lol. ok. keep moaning then. ta ta
ps: reading comprehension could help you out. Never said your battery aint enough. All I said was to switch to batt only mode. not rocket science is it? but you do you and keep crying about 'unfairness' while being rude about it.
@CryptoWarrior01@Crypto_Sway that reply :)) is fermented tea a step above fermented milk? :D
anyway, either of them will work for your gut and make you 'regular'. kefir is better for your teeth as kombucha is a bit more acidic.
@ian_mccabe@pe2da@OctopusEnergy I'm on agile outgoing and have batteries. Over the summer and autumn I've build quite the credit as the export prices were insanely high - my record was 30+ quid profit in a day. Saw me through the whole winter so far and have enough credit left that I could do it again.
@pe2da@OctopusEnergy Yes.I've achieved 100% of my electricity bill + the gas bill on top(cooking and heating).I've done that by exporting my stored energy back to octopus whenever the rates were high enough. I've still got credit I've build in the summer+autumn. It helps that the export hit 177p/kwh
@MrFrewster@MartinSLewis 12.5k this march. 6.2kWp + 13kwh battery. Covers all needs + more. Am on octopus and using their agile export tariff. with that on top, the payback is under 4 years. Will be even shorter over the next few rate hikes. I'm already exporting at £0.8/kwh, it will be insane at £1.5-2.
