Commuter to Cambridge by bicycle, motorcycle, car (in that order). Love outdoor adventure, offroad cycling (MTB), going to the mountains. OpenStreetMapper.
@WYP_PCWILLIS A decicated lane, active warnings to drivers. I'd take this motorway hard shoulder any day over sharing a single lane 60mph route with blind bends if it were legal. There is a lack of safe direct routes for cyclists in the UK.
@CambsCops Whatever happened to #closepass in Cambridge? An actual collision that looks deliberate but 'not pursuing it' ? https://t.co/XI1eiIcPKn
Absolute luck the rider didn't fall off.
What's stopping you travelling? I think I can guess... I've put together a PDF for young people planning their first adventure. Get it by signing up for my newsletter: https://t.co/ghPKXalQHz
@CambsCops Single file makes no difference.
The cyclist should be central in the carriageway on narrow roads. Riding as a peloton is a more efficient and safer use of the road.
The Moat area is looking fabulous right now.
With so few trees around here it's very popular with kids and dogs for exploring and play. Thanks @ our parish council.
@kateheydonorg @MartinPorter6 The closed cyclepath at the B1049/A14 roundabout has reminded me how a minority of drivers like to threaten people on bikes. Can't wait for the cyclepath to be back in action.
@oldschoolswaff@MartinSLewis It's not called Road Tax, it's Vehicle Excise Duty, also referred to as Car or Vehicle Tax. Not all motor vehicles pay VED. This 2013 article explains more https://t.co/9BNQFvlYKM
