There needs to be a way for oncology patients to get admitted to the hospital without spending 18 hrs (not an exaggeration) in the ED.

Having these patients occupy beds for 18 hours in the ED takes up space that could be used by people suffering actual emergencies.

Interesting that the guy all about elevating HBCUs has just left his now successful HBCU program for one of the least HBCU schools in the country. I’m curious how he’ll spin that on the recruiting trail.

I wish him all the best, though. A winning season in Boulder would be nice.
