What is the purpose the property tax and what does it pay for?
The property tax goes to maintain the community, the roads, the local school etc… and all of this expenses are raising up with inflation… you don’t stop using the public roads around your house the day you buy the house.
If we don’t increase property taxes then cities will have less money to maintain the city and either bankrupt or increase taxes on everyone else new who buys the houses in the area… if no one new comes.. then the city runs out of money and it becomes a hell hole that nobody wants to move to, and all the properties become worthless….

I read a post about the way she always says “could”… like: the taxes COULD pay….
But she never says WILL pay…
That’s just a way to get you to support the tax increase, thinking it will go to where the needs are, when in reality they just go to another wasteful spending somewhere

Almost daily on the podcast they keep pushing and repeating the idea there is this huge bubble in AI… they have conversations with bunch of people who tell them the bubble is in a few companies, the rest are funding them with profits, so even if it fails it’s not that serious and there will be small ramifications….
After all of this discussions, they’re like… well i don’t really thing what my guest said is true, we live in a bubble 🤷‍♂️
