@Papere_ overall, thoriated glass can be fun to work with; and you should be safe as long as you do your research, use the proper precautions, and handle it carefully. but once again, i'm by no means a scholarly source/an expert, so take all of this with a healthy grain of salt.
a thread of (mostly) useless knowledge and fun facts i have accumulated over the years
full disclosure, this thread will never be finished and i will keep adding entries forever /hj
also: please take everything in here with a grain of salt, im not a scholarly source lmak
@Papere_ also, make sure not to hold the glass up directly to your eye (like without glasses in between it and your eye), as there's a chance it could cause cataracts.
here's a good source on both of those pieces of information

We welcome all boycotts of companies complicit in Israeli apartheid & in Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. However, we specifically ask you to follow & amplify the call to boycott @PUMA, @AXA, @HP, @Siemens, @CarrefourGroup, #Sodastream, #Ahava & Israeli produce.
i am well aware. that this is pretty much as far from an original thought/idea as one can get, but i would like it very much if humans could stop being awful to each other?
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY. All out TODAY at 6pm to Grand Army Plaza to stand up and be counted: Jews against genocide of Palestinians! Never again is today!
Y'know, as an anti-zionist & pro-Palestine Jew, something that always puzzled me about what Israel is doing is: we've been through this !! We've had people do this to us over and over again !! We should know better !! But then it hit me. The cycle of generational abuse. (1/9)
HOW TO HELP DONATE TO PALESTINE:
