Officers are asking for the help of the public to trace a 12-year-old girl reported missing in Glasgow.
Serina Solberg was last seen around 3pm on Thursday, 9 July, on Dumbarton Road near to the Kingsway flats. She was reported missing on Friday, 10 July.
She is described as around 4ft 11ins, of medium build, and has long, brown hair with blue tips.
When last see Serina was wearing a black cardigan, bluish green leggings and black trainers.
Sergeant Robert Goldie said: “Concerns are growing for Serina’s welfare and we need to make sure she is safe and well.

HERO alert! Off-duty Texas firefighter dives under a capsized boat and brings three kids back to life with CPR!!

Jason Horne was celebrating the Fourth of July on Alvarado Lake with his 12-year-old daughter when people waved them down for help. A pontoon boat with nine people had flipped and trapped three children underneath.

Horne immediately dove in. He pulled out the first little boy who was breathing.

Then he found a little girl who was unresponsive and not breathing. He got her on top of the capsized boat and started CPR until she began breathing again while his daughter called 911.

He went back under for the third child. Others flipped the boat and the boy surfaced with anchor rope wrapped around him. Horne performed CPR until the boy regained a pulse.

All three children survived and went home to their families.

His department said it best. When others needed help most Jason did what firefighters do and stepped up without hesitation.

A 12-year-old girl watched her dad become the hero every child deserves.

These are the real first responders who protect our communities every day. Make this one FAMOUS.

Honoring Marine Master Sgt. Jerome D. Hatfield he died July 11, 2009 serving during Operation Enduring Freedom while supporting combat operations in Khan Neshin, Afghanistan.

Hatfield, a former drill instructor, joined the Corps in June 1991. He is survived by his wife and three children.

Last week, 6-year-old Calli Toler was killed after an illegal alien allegedly ran a stop sign and crashed into her family's SUV.

Her mother and 4-year-old brother were seriously injured. Calli died at the scene.

The driver had already been deported THREE times.

This should not be the daily headline we see in America. Her alleged killer should not have been in our country in the first place.

We PRAY this is the last time we say a child's death was 100 percent preventable.

As we continue remembering the 142 Americans killed in the Vietnam War who were born on the Fourth of July, today we honor Specialist Four Robert J. Smith.

Born on America's Independence Day, Robert J. Smith would ultimately give his life defending the freedoms that day represents.

On March 21, 1967, Fire Support Base Gold, northwest of Tay Ninh, came under a massive enemy assault during Operation Junction City. More than five Viet Cong battalions attacked the isolated base with mortars, recoilless rifles, rocket-propelled grenades, and a determined ground assault that breached portions of the American perimeter.

Amid the fierce fighting stood SP4 Robert J. Smith. As artillery crews lowered their guns to fire directly into the advancing enemy and infantrymen fought desperately to hold the line, Smith fought alongside his fellow soldiers until he was killed in action. He was one of 31 Americans who gave their lives in what would later become known as the Battle of Suoi Tre.

The battle ended in a decisive American victory, with more than 600 Viet Cong killed. Yet for the families of those 31 fallen Americans, victory could never replace the sons, husbands, brothers, and friends they lost that day.

Born on the Fourth of July, Robert J. Smith's life began on the anniversary of American liberty. It ended on a battlefield half a world away, where he made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of that liberty.

Today, we honor and remember Specialist Four Robert J. Smith. May his sacrifice, and the sacrifices of all who served beside him, never be forgotten.

I cleaned out my classroom today.
One year ago, I was forced to resign from my teaching job in Florida simply because I’m a Black conservative who refused to hide my Republican values.
