The Federal goverment banned foreign commercial enterprises and individuals who are not Canadian citizens from purchasing residential property in Canada Jan 1 2023.
The ban was just extended to 2027. Does anyone have a direct comparison of foreign money inflow before and after the ban.
How much foreign money came into Canada Residential home purchases in years 2019 2020, 2021, 2022 . then how much came in after the foreignbuyers ban after jan 1 2023 ( counting those that had exclusions to the ban under the investor exclusion.) eg did it make a big difference or little difference?
