@bridalshowerss Some could be good if they just change original names a little.
Maegor: Maegar, Maegon.
Haegon: Haegar, Haegor.
Gaemon: Gaelor....maybe not that one.
@nosfealu I mean Baratheon did fk his mom so I'd say they are even.
As for Velaryon, they submitted to Maegor and even remained on his council so their loyalty was very much in question.
@Teslimatttt Depends. If you mean pure Gold, maybe. But if you mean assets, the Targs had 2 Valyrian steel swords, a Valyrian steel dagger, Valyrian steel armor(show only), and a Valyrian steel crown. Not to mention whatever dragons are worth.
@KernNiko@nonregemesse Cause it doesn't make sense and is immersion breaking. The targaryens literally have Velaryon blood. And the Velaryon have Targaryen blood. One of the features of being Valyrian is the pale skin, if hair color is such a big deal then so is skin color.
@RhaenyraTruther I don't know why its hard for people to understand, they both lost and won. Rhaenyra lost the war for the crown, but won in the fact that her descendants sit the throne. Aegon won the war for the crown, but lost in his line being ended.
@RhaenyraTruther Except he claim was legitimate as he was the son of Aegon the Conqueror. It just was not lawful/rightful since he was last in the line of succession.
@RhaenyraTruther Aegon's claim is supported by Precedent and Laws. Rhaenyra claim is supported by the fact the King's word is Law. Which Law is greater?
@Teslimatttt Its possible for him to be a similar size. Cannibal is older then many dragons but not the biggest, same could be said for Dreamfyre. In other words, Dragons grow fast then grow slow. How big they grew in that time frame is variable as shown by Vermithor.
@manafsinare Rhaenyra vs Aegon is basically Rights of Inheritance vs Rights by Law.
By the Laws of the Andals, Firstmen, and precedent the Throne is Aegon's, but by Rights of Inheritance it's Rhaenyra because Viserys is King and he has the Authority to circumvent laws.
@lorxell Why wouldn't it be the same? Laenor would be heir and probably married to either Laena or Rhaenyra, but still wouldn't be able to sire heirs. Bastards would be born, and then it would be a free-for-all on who has the legitimate claim.
