A lot of Nigerians were not raised to be loved.
They were raised to survive, obey, endure, provide, and sacrifice.
So many people now confuse:
control for care,
suffering for loyalty,
financial dependence for love,
and emotional silence for maturity.
Thatβs why some people feel more loved when they are being monitored than when they are being understood.
@DavidHundeyin My secondary school history class also cited the death of students from Kings College Lagos as the driving force in Nigeria's fight for independence. Till my Dad died a few years ago in his 80s, he told me never to let anyone paint the colonial era as anything but bad.
@aedcelectricity Lento Aluminum Area in Jabi. Band A tariffs with less than 6 hours supply for the past three weeks and somehow, the meter will gulp over 20 units daily, light or no light. Make it make sense!
@aedcelectricity Dear AEDC. Band A tariffs want to kill my enemy. 5k gives only 22 units. What I loaded at 5am this morning had already finished 4pm when I checked the meter. I have sent a previous DM no reply.
@lollypeezle My sister applied for hers since last year following the website. She did capture in Abuja. Till today, no passport. This passport renewal number five(at least) since reaching adulthood.
